Is it advisable or not to have a cold shower immediately after hair waxing? how about moisturizing?

i always wash with warm water and a good soap. i then moisturize. I think the only reason that i dont use cold water is because afterwards i feel like my skin still has some sort of a waxy layer to it, which i dont like. it doesnt feel as fresh and smooth as when i use warm water. Is it advisable or not to have a cold shower immediately after hair waxing? how about moisturizing?
I'm a guy who gets waxed and I'd advise not to put anything on your skin after waxing except cool water. The skin pores are raw and open after waxing, so you don't want to clog them up with anything because further irritation or even infection could occur. After your skin has calmed down from the waxing, about 1 day, you can go back to your normal skin care routines.

While the skin is still red or irritated just have a cool shower. There's no need to have it completely cold, just quite a bit cooler than your normal shower.
