Does hair grow back thicker after waxing or just after shaving?

I thought it was an old wives' tale that shaving made your hair grow in worse, but now that it's happened to me I am afraid to wax other areas! Has anyone had their hair grow in thicker after waxing?Does hair grow back thicker after waxing or just after shaving?
After each waxing the hair will grow in sparser and softer. Alot of women end up having no hair growth after repeated times.Does hair grow back thicker after waxing or just after shaving?
Thats actualli a myth...hair only grows back DARKER giving the look that it is actualli thicker!
after waxing, hair only comes back after a week or two. but it doesn't get thicker nor thinner(trust me, i've done it a couple of times). you only retain the same thickness of the body hair you're having. the process hurts, but it's convenient 'coz you only have to repeat the process after two weeks or so.

as for shaving, it may or may not grow worse(i shave once a month, seriously). it depends on your body hair type. so since your have gotten worse, just try waxing. convenient, but a little bit painful. shaving is convenient too, but you have to do a daily maintenance.

hope this helps.
Waxing is actually better than shaving. I agree that its more time consuming and hurts more, but its effective. Hairs do not grow back thicker or faster.

In some cases hairs have dissappeared after continuous waxing for few months.
Shaving dosent make hair grow back thicker, it is just a myth

what happenes is a hair is thicker and darker at the root, so if you shave its cutting to the root, so when it grows again looks thicker and darker, waxing pulls out the whole hair and untill another hair takes root, you will have beautiful soft legs!

hoped this helped ^__^ :)xx
Your hair won't be thicker after waxing. Waxing pulls your hair out from the root. After waxing a few more times, it's possible to not have any hair on your legs ever again. But it's painful.
