Does waxing your hair really cause acne breakouts?

I've recently started using hair wax to raise my bangs, as the acne under there was getting quite bad. But I've noticed that the wax is causing the side of my face (side hair) to break out...

Does anyone know of any wax that doesn't cause acne?Does waxing your hair really cause acne breakouts?
it could be that your wax is wrong temp. or its just irritating your skin. I know when I do my eye brows that I get a few bumps, but using hot wash rag and the cream that comes with the wax helps alotDoes waxing your hair really cause acne breakouts?
wax is 'paraffin wax' which is crude oil/mineral oil: gasoline...and yes it causes acne, since it stays on the face, clogging pores. if you must wax there, try those natural kits that don't contain paraffin/mineral wax.
Keep your bangs and face very clean and stay away from the wax. That will help you get rid of your acne problem.
never heard of that before
