Would waxing neck hair or using nair on the neck reduce razor burn?

I dont know about waxing...it would reduce razor burn, but you would probably get alot more ingrown hairs that way.

Nair would probably do the same thing, though it might be a better alternative to waxing.

What i have found that works wonders (and i shave my head so i have a constant battle with razorburn) is the ';Art of Shaving'; products.

Its a 3 part shaving system (and its pretty expensive...about 100 dollars) but it is honestly the best shaving products that i have ever found. I have to shave twice a day to keep a smooth face and even with that much shaving i have completely gotten rid of razor burn on my neck (front and back) and head. They truely are wonderful products. And i know the 100 dollars seems like alot, but it comes with the pre shave lotion, the shaving creme, a badger hair brush, and the after shave soothing lotion. When used together its almost unbeatable. Plus they last forever. I can get about 12 months out of the kit before i need a new one, so thats only about 8 buck a month for non-razor burned skin (worth it to me)

Edit: (additional Details)

The Badger's hair brush is used to spread the shaving creme. Have you ever seen an old movie where the guy lathers his face up with a circular brush? Its the same thing. It allows you to use less creme while getting better (and softer) coverage to your face.

With the Art of Shaving products less really is more, i can cover my face with about 2 drops of the pre-shave lotion, and just about one 'twirl'; of the brush in the creme (remember to wet the brush and try it on your face before adding more creme...its really thick so covers alot of area)
