Do you have to grow your hair out before waxing?

I want to try a bikini wax, how long do you need to grow the hair out before waxing? Is there any irritation after? Shaving gives me horrible razor burn, I have extremely sensitive skin. Any tips?Do you have to grow your hair out before waxing?
The hair needs to be at LEAST 1/4 inch, but 1/2 of an inch is ideal,

That way you'll get better results.

You'll probably be red in the area waxed afterwards, and your hair follicles might look a little swollen, but it goes away soon enough.

Nothing a cold cloth can't help soothe.

If you have extremely sensitive skin, even call the spa ahead of time,

Let them know about your skin, and see if they've got a certain kind of wax for sensitive skin.

And yeah .. waxing does hurt, especially at first.

But it's well worth it, and the more you do it, the less it hurts, and the more your skin will get used to it.

Hope that helped!Do you have to grow your hair out before waxing?
To have a good experience your hair needs to be at least 1in long or longer so the wax doesn't pull your skin. The only irritation that one can have a a little soreness but nothing serious. Try to find a clean and comfortable shop and ask a lot of questions.
It has to be long enough for the wax to hold on.

It hurts A LOT. You could bleed, and with me, it looked like my follicles were pulled out, because I had chicken skin for weeks.

So yeah.. I'd take a few painkillers before you start.
i need the same anser but no one will anser the question gahh!
