How to get rid of upper lip hair without shaving/waxing?

My upper lip hair is really visible (I'm fair-skinned and dark-haired), I hate it and I want to get rid of it. I can't wax because my skin is really sensitive and prone to infection (I've tried it once and it was a disaster). So can you please suggest some methods that work? I've heard of laser and electolysis, which method is better?

I'm 22 by the way.How to get rid of upper lip hair without shaving/waxing?
You get laser surgery or use nairHow to get rid of upper lip hair without shaving/waxing?
If you can't afford any of those costly methods for hair removal, you could get a much cheaper hair removal kit at your local drug store. However, AVON has a really great hair removal product that is great for those with sensitive skin. Also, you could bleach it like my Mom does. When you bleach it, it turns so white that it almost looks clear. My Mom has that dark Italian complexion and, as you can imagine, very dark hair and you can never notice her upper lip hair - ever.

Good luck..
One of my classmates has the same problem like you. She doesn't want to wax it or to shave it, but she found something like a powder and a gel that she can use to decolour the upper lip hair. She mixes the powder and the gel and she applies the mix to all the surface where the hair is visible. You don't have to stay too long..just less than 5 min and you will not even notice that you still have hair.

I think that you should go to a cosmetic salon and to ask them if they know any name for it so you can buy it.

I don't know the name of it...but i know that is not so expensive.

Hope that I helped.

All my best wishes to you.
Well, I used Cream Bleach for a while, but that stuff starts to look weird after the first couple times. And plus, I have brown hair, so yeah... Lol. =P So, what I do now, is pluck it, and I'm way more happy with myself. Afterwards, I put this cream on it called ';Dermakind'; just to stop any irriatation, but any mosturizing cream will do probably. And yes, laser hair removel surgery is another alternative. If you have the money for it, then I say, go for it!

Hope I helped, and goooood luck!

:)
Since you had a reaction to a wax and your skin is sensitive you should ask your dermatologist what he/she suggest. This is your face and you want the best procedure possible. Don't take any unnecessary chances.
laser is an option, however you could try a depilitary cream instead, that's less permenant and not as harsh as waxing. Don't shave though whatever you do, it will grow back thicker
Rub ice over the area to de-sensitize it. Then pluck the hair with a plucker or a thread, go to a salon to get this done.

Apply astringent afterwards and rub some ice again for relief.
Definitely don't shave it because when you shave hair, it can come back darker and thicker. You should try bleaching it with a brand like Jolen or something along those lines. Try a beauty store or even your local supermarket.
electrolysis is pricey...

an option similar to waxing is ';threading';.. its done by some salons, its cheap and it only takes afew minutes... they use a thread to pull the little hairs out....
bleach it...electroliss or however you spell it..ive had it and it hurts and will probably irritate your skin beause it did mine and im not sensitive
Laser removal
Laser is great...I had it done...kinda pricey though...electrolysis takes too long!
it will take up time, but tweeze it, then put vaseline on it after so it doesnt go red
bleach it
