i have been bleaching the hair on my upper lip for year but for some reason it is not working too good anymore. i was thinking about waxing it. im kinda scared that it may grow back picky though. any ideas on how i can get rid of this or why this is happening to me? i am 23 years old!Would waxing the hair on my upper lip make it grow back picky or thick?
Hi, I'm 31 %26amp; have had the same problem since I was about 14. Please, take advice from someone who has dealt with this for several years. DON';T use anything on your face unless it removes the hair by the root.
Waxing doesn't make your hair grow back thicker, course, prickly, etc. People wax because it takes longer for the hair to grow back %26amp; it doesn't make you have stuble, etc. Anything that removes hair by the root eventually makes it grow back thinner/lighter. This takes years, but you don't have to worry about bad side effects. My mom used to pluck her eyebrows with tweezers, but at about 40 she rarely had to pluck any more. Most of the hair just seemed to stop growing.
If you don't wax, the only other thing I recommend is lazer hair removal. DON';T SHAVE....please don't listen to anyone who says its OK. Think about what your boyfriends face feels like if he doesn't shave every day. When he started shaving, his facial hair was just like the hair on your upper lip.
You can go to a salon to have your upper lip waxed if you want to. I used to but decided it wasn't worth $8-10 every time. I started buying Avon's Skin So Soft Hair Removal Microwave Wax. The whole kit is only $15 %26amp; it last forever. I normally wax every 4-5 weeks. I definatly recommend using a microwave wax instead of cold wax. It doesn't go on very easy because it is to thick.Would waxing the hair on my upper lip make it grow back picky or thick?
Nothing is wrong with you. This is what I do: Buy nair facial hair cream, you put it all above your upper lip, wait for like 5-8 minutes, and get a most towel and take it off as hard as you can. it pulls the hair off and it doesn't grow back prickly! you can buy it at any store with beauty supplies.
waxing can make it grow back thicker and maybe even look funny when growing back. Maybe try lazer hair removal. It works well on me and I'm still just a teen. I also have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate my skin. So you might try that. Hope I could help.
it will eventually grow back, but i have this creme from sally hensen.you put it on%26amp;mintunes later you wipe it off with warm water%26amp;it comes off.
It is a myth that shaving or waxing makes hair grow back thicker. Go for it. :]
