I used one of those personal groomers, the ones on the infomercials that are like little electric razors on my upper lip and under my chin because the hair bothered me and i was scared to wax it. Before, it was blonde and pretty fine but its been coming in black ane coarse. How can i get to be light and fine again? Will waxing work? Will waxing make hair grow in finer and lighter?
Waxin does make your follicles weaker. so the hair is not as strong as it is pre waxing. No hair removal procedure can change your natural hair color unless the follicle has an adverse reaction and then the hair may change a little bit. If your hair was dyed or bleached (bleaching also happens from some facial care creams that contain benzol peroxide or other chemicals) before then of course it is going to grow back in its NATURAL color. It will grow back slower and not as densly.
Beware, of your tolerance for pain. Some people are cryers screamers. I was pretty calm since i have a very high pain threshold.
I got my pits and bikini area waxed it wasnt bad. Pits hurt worse than the bikini area did. I have had my brows done a couple of times that wasnt bad.
If you want the hair to stay weaker and growing slow you have to maintain a good schedule. Also for the first time or 2 you may have to come back sooner because they have to get all your follicles on the same growth pattern.
Oh and be careful that the temperature of the wax isnt too hot. Which of course is hard to dictate if you have never had it done before. But I have had it done once before and I dont know if it was the heat or the adhesion (stickiness) of the wax but my skin was bruised in strips for several weeks. So take care to make sure you find a professional. Will waxing make hair grow in finer and lighter?
the only spots wear the hair comes in finer are the underarms, bikini area, and legs/arms.
facial hair doesn't get finer
