What is it with all these questions asking about shaving/waxing pubic hair?

Why does it seem more attractive to shave off your pubic hair and look like a little child?





I don't understand it, I'm a 19 year old girl and I don't shave or wax my pubic hair, does that make me disgusting like many of my friends seem to think so?What is it with all these questions asking about shaving/waxing pubic hair?
I believe most youth like shaved or trimmed because that's basically what they see in today's pornography. Many youths learn sexuality through porn. The Internet's covered with it, as well as hardcopy publications.





I forget exactly when it happened, but several states in the United States ban the display of pubic hair in strip bars. The porn industry eventually took wind of this and as a result you see very little to no pubes in porn. Youth see shaved women in porn, and eventually it becomes embedded in their minds that shaved is best.





Another reason many people prefer shaved is that the pubic area becomes dirty - such as smell because the hair makes warmer in that area. If you shave down there, it doesn't smell as much. So most people link pubic hair to being unclean. Shaved is considered clean.





As for me, it does not make sense to shave. When I see a shaved naked woman, it makes her look underaged. Pubes IMHO is a visual sign of adulthood. Also, when you see a naked woman - unless she spreads her legs open, you don't see anything! This is why the natural or trimmed look is prevalent in Asia... In Japan for example, showing genitalia is banned. They hide the genitalia by placing mosaic shading over it. Now, if a woman was shaved, you would see absolutely nothing. But, if you see the black pubes penetrating through the mosaic shading, then at least you know that you're seeing a naked woman. Shaving appears to be preferred in western societies like the United States and Europe.





So in summary, it basically comes down to what your roots are regarding visually-based sexuality. If you were brought up looking at baldness, then you'll like them bald. If you were brought up looking at pubes, then you will like pubes.What is it with all these questions asking about shaving/waxing pubic hair?
I completely agree with you. I never even knew that people removed hair there. Then, just so i would be like everyone else, I started shaving my pubes too.


So really, I think its just human nature, to do what everyone else is doing. I understand if you want to get the sides, just so they don't show, but getting your whole area removed of hair, that is just plain silly. It DOES make you look like a little child.
I have shaved for years and recently had a full wax. It is awesome. Those people that think you look pre-pubescent or child like must be built like little boys and girls, because I know I sure don't look that way. It feels so much better and the wife loves it!!!





It comes down to personal perference. If you and your guy don't mind it then who cares. I personally like it all gone for the both my wife and me. Remember, the only difference between a man and a woman shaving is that women have been doing it longer.

it's just feels free..let's things breath 8D...i mean i don't like the baldy look, but the landing strip just looks clean n nice....and its not gross as long as you keep it not to be so blunt but fresh 8/...
trim it. do somethin to it. its hygeine.





just cause nature made it one way doesnt mean its attractive in our modern minds.
