What can i do to keep off arm hair without waxing, bleaching or using hair removal creams?

i'm terribly allergic to all brands of wax, bleach and hair removal creams i've tried so i have no choice but to shave my legs and underarms. I haven't done anything to remove my arm hair yet. Is it ok to shave it?What can i do to keep off arm hair without waxing, bleaching or using hair removal creams?
I shave my arm hair. Its a pain, but I feel its worth it because I'm fair skinned and have very dark hair. After a day or two it grows back so in the summer I suggest you shave it everyday if you do shave it. I'm saving up to get laser hair removal on my arms. You could also try threading, its like plucking using a thread, although its extremely hard to find a salon to do it if you live in a smaller town.

Edit: Oh I forgot! You could also try smooth away. I use it on my stomach (I know, kinda gross), but it works pretty well. It may irritate your skin though. Its basically like really fine sandpaper that just smooths away the hair. Its about 10 bucks for a box and it can be found at almost any drugstore. What can i do to keep off arm hair without waxing, bleaching or using hair removal creams?
Try epilating. Though an epilator may cost more money than shaving, it works wonders; I finished both of my arms in around 5 minutes. It hurts at first, but then you get used to it after the first few times. It also makes your hair grow back thinner.

Well, shaving is about the only other alternative other than laser hair removal and electrolysis, which are very expensive but permanent. You can shave them, but just like your legs it will come back stubbly very quickly. I did it once and never did it again, but fortunately my arm hair is fairly light.
It's fine to shave it, but it's going to look a little funny when stubble grows in.
