Does waxing cause hair to grow back thicker and darker?

I'm thinking of waxing my legs. I also want to know, if not on the legs, if it causes thicker and darker hair on any other parts of the body.Does waxing cause hair to grow back thicker and darker?
No. Waxing doesn't make the hair grow in thicker or darker. The hair will grow in finer and not as stubbly as when you shave. Waxing removes hair from the root, unlike shaving, which cuts it off at the skin. That's why your leg hair feels coarse a couple days after you shave, because the tip is cut bluntly with the razer. Also, repeated waxing will eventually cause hair to grow in finer and sparser.Does waxing cause hair to grow back thicker and darker?
no, waxing actually makes hair grow back thinner, but be careful, it's easy to get ingrown hairs with waxing.
No. It makes no difference.
with waxing hair would grow finner and softer
Oh, I love you! Thank you for asking this question!

Okay, the only reason that shaving causes thicker and darker is because it's like when you just barely get a hair cut; It's all thick and dark at the ends because it hasn't been there as long as the original tips.

Waxing however, is just like when baby hair starts to grow; it's thin, instead. It's just the same on all parts of the body.

So, yeah, go ahead and wax. Just be careful! :)
yes and no, first it depends if your hair is dark or light because if you're light haired it won't really matter. But, if its the other way around then yes it grows back darker. But, no it does not come back thicker because I've had my eyebrows waxed and everything I told you is true because it happened to me. Exept I'm light haired so still it depends but, trust me it isTRUE!
